RP Ultra Shock Oil #40 (Red) overview

The RP Ultra Shock Oil series has been updated with refined graduations across major viscosities and a color-coding scheme to simplify selection during setup. This bottle contains 40cc of silicone-based shock oil graded at #40 and identified by its red color.

As an RC-scale accessory, this oil is intended for use inside shock absorbers to adjust damping characteristics. Changing to a thicker or thinner grade alters compression and rebound behavior, so use incremental changes when fine-tuning handling.

Practical notes for installation and tuning: drain old oil, refill the shock body while avoiding air pockets, then cycle the shaft to expel trapped air before final assembly. Use the color coding to keep multiple bottles organized during testing sessions.
