This SD-118DM kit is a set of RC-scale battery mount posts designed for use with D-Max chassis. It replaces the stock mounting hardware with aluminum posts and collars to provide a stable anchor for pack placement and to simplify repeatable battery positioning during setup and tuning.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original posts on the D-Max chassis and fit the aluminum posts into the existing mounting points, using the supplied collars, O-rings and flat head screws to secure the pack. The included O-rings help reduce lateral play while the collar and screw pairs lock the post height and position.

From a tuning perspective, this kit lets you make small, controlled changes to battery location and height to affect balance and handling without fabricating custom mounts. It is intended strictly for RC model use and for teams or hobbyists who adjust battery placement as part of chassis setup.
