Adjustable steering rack for MR-4TC SD LCG

This is an RC-scale steering rack intended for the MR-4TC SD LCG chassis that lets you alter steering geometry without major disassembly. The unit changes the Ackermann ratio by repositioning the steering rod 1.5mm forward or backward from the standard mounting point, giving a predictable mechanical adjustment for steering feel and turn-in behaviour on drift setups.

Installation is straightforward: replace the stock rack with this unit and mount the steering rod in the alternate position to shift the linkage relationship. Because the modification is a lateral rod-offset adjustment, it affects front wheel steering angles rather than requiring changes to servo endpoints or electronics, making it useful for fine-tuning handling at the chassis level.

Tuning notes: moving the rod forward or backward alters inner and outer wheel steering proportions, so test incremental changes on the same track or surface and record results. Combine this mechanical adjustment with tyre, toe, and suspension settings to achieve the desired drift transition and mid-corner balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It's designed for the MR-4TC SD LCG chassis and intended as a drop-in steering rack replacement.
Shifting the steering rod forward or backward by 1.5mm changes the Ackermann ratio, which alters inner versus outer wheel steering angles and affects turn-in and corner transition.
In most cases no electronic changes are required since the adjustment is mechanical, but check end-points and centring after installation to confirm neutral steering.
