Aluminum motor mount for D-Max

The Yokomo SD-304DS is a dedicated aluminum motor mount produced for the D-Max special chassis and finished in anodized blue. Its layout centers on a clamping motor interface with a separate motor cam and spring, allowing repeatable positioning when removing or reinstalling the motor.

In practical terms the part functions as a rigid anchor for the motor to maintain alignment with the spur and pinion, and to help keep backlash and mesh adjustments stable under use. The design supports common installation workflows: secure the mount to the chassis, position the motor with the clamp and cam, then finalize gear mesh and fastener torque.
