Anti-roll bar wire for MR-4TC

The Yokomo SD-412 Anti-Roll Bar Wire is an RC-scale anti-roll element specified for use with the MR-4TC series chassis, intended for drift suspension setups. It is a wire-form bar designed to influence lateral roll behaviour, giving a straightforward way to adjust how the chassis responds during cornering and sliding.

This part's role in setup is purely mechanical: by changing the wire's effective stiffness or swapping to a different wire profile, you alter roll transfer between the left and right sides of the car. That change affects weight transfer, entry rotation, and mid-corner balance on a drift car without altering dampers or springs.

Installation is direct and normally uses the same anti-roll bar mounts on MR-4TC layouts. Check alignment and mounting points on your chassis before fitting, confirm the bar moves freely through its travel, and verify there is no binding with suspension links or bodywork. Small incremental changes to wire length or mounting radius deliver predictable tuning steps.

For maintenance, inspect the wire for bends or deformation after impacts and replace if the wire no longer returns to its intended shape, as a deformed wire will change handling characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The SD-412 is intended for MR-4TC series layouts, designed to fit standard MR-4TC anti-roll mounts, verify fit on your specific chassis variant before final installation.
Altering the wire stiffness changes lateral roll transfer, which modifies weight distribution during slides and corner transitions, allowing finer control of entry and mid-corner rotation.
Ensure the bar clears suspension links and bodywork, rotates or moves as intended in its mounts, and inspect for deformation after any impacts to maintain consistent handling.
