The Y2-002XGA is the X3 main chassis plate designed for the YD-2 scale drift platform. The layout is made to accept E, S, and R style gearboxes, offering a single plate that adapts to different transmission placements without replacing the main chassis.

The plate thickness is specified at 2.5mm and finished in matte graphite for a consistent surface treatment. In practice this chassis plate serves as the central mounting plane for electronics, suspension pickup points, and gearbox hardware and helps define chassis flex and weight distribution used during setup changes.

Installation notes: fit the chassis using the existing YD-2 mounting stack, verify gearbox orientation before final tightening, and use threadlocker on metal-to-metal fasteners when reusing hardware. During initial setup check clearance around the servo and motor mount locations to confirm gearbox selection does not interfere with wiring or nearby components.
