Aluminum slide rack to refine front steering

This RC-scale slide rack set uses black anodized aluminum for the integrated bulkhead and slide rail, with milling to reduce mass in the front section. The lower weight and stiffer bulkhead change how the front end reacts, helping to shorten steering response for drift setups.

On resin chassis the fitted bulkhead raises local rigidity in the front section, reducing the tendency for the front tyre to “catch” at corner entries and making initial turn-in more predictable. The rack is tilted forward to produce an Ackermann-style geometry suited to drifting, allowing smoother angle transitions during controlled slides.

Installation is straightforward for builders familiar with DP-series and YD2 platforms, the part replaces the stock front bulkhead and slide rack assembly. For tuning, try small toe and caster adjustments after installation to re-balance steering feel; the part's stiffness changes front-end feedback so suspension and steering link settings may need minor re-trim to restore balance.
