Lightweight conversion for B-Max4III

The Yokomo YOKB4-LWS is an RC-scale light weight conversion intended for the B-Max4III touring car chassis. It is designed to reduce overall moving mass and make iterative tuning sessions more efficient by changing how the chassis responds to suspension and power delivery adjustments.

This conversion focuses on weight reduction and balance refinement rather than altering suspension geometry or drivetrain ratios. Installation typically replaces specific standard components with lighter counterparts and integrates with the existing mounting points on the B-Max4III, keeping compatibility with common servo, ESC, and motor setups used in 1/10 touring classes.

For setup and tuning, expect a livelier response from steering inputs and quicker transient behaviour; small changes to roll stiffness, damping, and anti-roll bar settings may be needed to rebalance handling after fitting the conversion. The kit is for RC-scale tuning work only and should be treated as an aftermarket hop-up for track testing and setup comparison.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for the B-Max4III chassis and works with the chassis' existing mounting points while replacing specified standard components.
In most cases existing servo, ESC, and motor setups used in 1/10 touring cars remain compatible, but verify clearances and mounting before final assembly.
Expect quicker transient response and changes to balance; retune roll stiffness and damping to restore cornering stability after installation.
Standard RC setup tools such as hex drivers and basic hand tools are normally sufficient; follow safe workshop practice when disassembling and reassembling the chassis.
