Super flex differential oil for tuning

The Yokomo YOKCSDOT2 is a silicone-based differential oil formulated for gear-type differentials in R/C models. Designed as a tuning fluid, it changes slip characteristics inside the diff to influence traction transfer and mid-corner behaviour on 1/10 scale on-road and touring setups.

Use it as a drop-in replacement for existing diff fluid: open the differential, drain the old fluid, and apply an appropriate amount of the super flex oil to the gear mesh and internal cavity. Because this product is a softer formulation, expect a smoother, more progressive transfer of power between wheels compared with heavier or thicker diff oils.

Tuning notes: lighter or more flexible oils like this one soften the diff action, which can improve turn-in and traction on low-grip surfaces but may reduce aggressive locking under hard acceleration. Change incrementally and test on-track to find the balance that matches your chassis setup and driving style. Maintain seals and check for leaks after refilling to ensure consistent behaviour.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It softens diff engagement for smoother power transfer, improving turn-in and traction on lower grip surfaces while reducing abrupt locking.
It is formulated for 1/10 scale gear differentials but check your diff seals and internals for compatibility before use.
Change oil incrementally and test on-track, observing corner entry, mid-corner feel, and exit traction to decide if lighter or firmer fill is needed.
