Silicone diff oil for gear differentials

This product is an RC-scale silicone oil formulated for gear-type differentials in radio-controlled cars. It serves as a tuning fluid that changes internal damping and torque transfer characteristics inside gear diffs, allowing finer control over handling balance without modifying mechanical parts.

Application is straightforward: add or replace oil inside the gear differential housing to adjust center, front or rear differential behavior depending on your chassis setup. Because this is a fluid tuning component, small viscosity changes can noticeably affect traction roll and rotation behavior; treat adjustments incrementally and keep records of volumes used.

Installation notes: clean the differential internals and bearings before introducing fresh oil to avoid contamination, work on a clean surface, and cycle the diff after filling to let the fluid settle into gears and cross pins. Use appropriate seals and gaskets to prevent leaks and inspect for foam or entrained air after filling.

Handling and storage: store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place, keep caps tightened, and avoid contact with painted surfaces as silicone oils can interfere with certain paints and plastics. Dispose of excess fluid according to local regulations for chemical waste.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It denotes a labeled viscosity range used for tuning, with higher numbers generally giving thicker damping; use it to fine‑tune differential feel.
It is intended for gear‑type R/C differentials; verify your diff type and seals before use and test incremental changes.
Clean components first, fill slowly to avoid air pockets, and run the diff to let oil settle before final setup.
