Super Drift Spring 25mm Overview

This is an RC-scale suspension spring intended for tuning drift setups and general suspension adjustments on model cars. The spring is marked yellow to indicate a medium-soft rating, and its 25mm free length suits common compact shock assemblies. Use it where a softer initial spring rate is needed to increase compliance and improve rear traction in low-speed slide transitions.

Installation follows standard spring-retainer arrangements found on most 1/10-scale shock absorbers: compress the spring evenly, seat it on the lower retainer, and ensure the upper retainer holds the coil solidly without lateral offset. Check that the spring aligns with the shock shaft to avoid binding during full travel.

Tuning notes: swap springs incrementally and evaluate one change at a time, noting effects on roll, yaw stability, and throttle-induced rotation. A medium-soft spring like this reduces initial stiffness compared with stiffer rates, so pairing it with appropriate damping and anti-roll adjustments is recommended to maintain predictable transitions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The yellow mark identifies the Medium-Soft rate for quick visual sorting during setup changes.
Yes, it is designed for common coil-over retainers used on many R/C shock assemblies, provided the 25mm length suits the shock.
Make one suspension change at a time, run consistent test laps or maneuvers, and note differences in slide entry, mid-slide balance, and recovery.
