Belted slick tire for 1/12 GT500

This is an RC-scale belted slick rubber tyre supplied as a 2pcs set and intended as a replacement for the GT500 hard tyre range on 1/12 on-road models. The belted construction reduces tread deformation compared with plain rubber only tyres, helping maintain a more consistent contact patch under cornering loads.

Compatibility is confined to GT500 hard tyre applications and 1/12 on-road wheel setups; verify wheel inner diameter and mounting method on your rim before installation. Installation follows standard tyre mounting practice for 1/12 on-road cars: seat the tyre on the rim, check bead seating, and confirm the internal belt aligns without folds or pinching.

Tuning role: use these belted hard tyres when you need lower rolling resistance and predictable transition at the limit, especially on smooth track surfaces. Changes to tyre pressure are not applicable to rubber tyres at this scale, instead adjust ride height, camber, and toe to fine-tune balance and turn-in behavior while observing tyre wear as the primary feedback.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are supplied as rubber tyres which require standard mounting to compatible 1/12 rims, glue if your wheel setup calls for a permanent fit.
The internal belt limits excessive deformation, so trimming should be minimal and focused on bead seating and any excess material only.
They perform best on smooth, low-grip surfaces where a firmer compound and reduced deformation help maintain consistent lap times.
