This is a hard precision pinion designed for 48-pitch RC drivetrain use. The 18-tooth count places it in a common mid-range for adjusting final gear ratios without changing the spur, letting builders fine-tune acceleration and top speed trade-offs within 48-pitch setups.

Fitment and compatibility depend on using 48-pitch motor shafts and matching spur/gearing; verify shaft diameter and set screw location on your motor before installation. The gear should be installed with correct mesh and checked for minimal backlash to avoid premature wear on both pinion and spur.
