Shock spring for 1/10 RC

The Yokomo YOKR12-37SS X Shock Soft Spring is an RC-scale shock spring intended for use in standard shock assemblies on 1/10 scale electric touring and on-road models. It provides a softer baseline compared with medium or hard springs, serving as a tuning option when you want increased compliance and improved traction on low-grip surfaces.

As a general-purpose soft spring, its role is to alter ride height, weight transfer and transient response without changing other shock hardware. Installers typically swap these springs into existing shock bodies, pairing them with the same shock oil and pistons to evaluate the net effect on handling. Because spring rate and preload interact, expect to adjust spring spacing or preload collars to regain ride height after fitting these springs.

Fitment is intentionally generic: the spring is designed to be compatible with common RC shock assemblies that accept standard-length coil springs. Measure internal shock travel and retainers to confirm fit before racing or long test sessions. Use these springs as part of iterative setup changes, noting changes to steering bite, mid-corner grip, and rear traction.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It fits most standard-length 1/10 on-road shock assemblies that use coil springs, but verify spring length and internal travel on your shocks before installing.
A softer spring generally increases mechanical grip and weight transfer but can reduce high-speed stability, so tune oil and preload together for balance.
Keep the same shock oil and piston when comparing springs, record ride height and preload changes, and test on a controlled surface to judge effects.
