Ultra off-road rear spring

This Yokomo rear spring is an RC-scale replacement part intended for off-road suspension use. It is supplied as a single-purpose coil intended to mount on compatible rear shock assemblies, serving the role of basic springing in rear suspension setups without implying model-specific fitment.

Installation is straightforward for common coil-over shock designs: remove the shock from the chassis if needed, relieve preload, slide the spring over the shock shaft and seat it on the spring perch, then reapply preload and reassemble. Verify that the spring length and internal diameter match your shock’s retainer and shaft before final fitment.

In tuning, rear springs influence rear-end balance, traction and rebound response. Use these springs in combination with appropriate shock oil viscosity, preload adjustment and shock travel limits to reach the desired handling. Make incremental changes and test on representative surfaces to evaluate how spring rate and preload affect rotation and traction.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Measure your shock’s spring perch diameter and the shaft clearance, compare those to the spring inner diameter and free length listed by the seller, and confirm mounting compatibility before purchase.
Pack quantities can vary by retailer, so check the product listing for the exact number of pcs included and confirm what is supplied before ordering.
Start with small changes to preload and shock oil viscosity, test on your typical surface, and adjust rear spring preload to influence rotation and traction while keeping changes incremental for clear comparison.
