Silicone shock oil for fine damping control

Yokomo YOKRP-085350 Racing Performer Ultra Shock Oils #35 is a silicone-based shock fluid formulated for RC-scale shock absorbers to support damping adjustments and tuning work. Intended solely for model use, it helps set damping response when rebuilding or tuning shocks to match track or surface conditions.

This product serves as a tuning consumable rather than a mechanical part, used during shock service to change the damping feel. It is compatible with common RC shock designs that accept silicone shock oil and is intended for hobby use on model cars and on-road/off-road setups within hobby-scale applications.

  • Purpose: Adjust shock damping for handling balance and rebound control during setup sessions.
  • Compatibility: For RC shock absorbers that use silicone shock oil; check your shock manual for recommended viscosity ranges.
  • Installation notes: Drain old fluid fully, refill slowly to avoid air inclusion, reassemble and cycle the shock to remove bubbles before final installation.
  • Tuning role: Use #35 to achieve medium damping levels; combine with stiffer or softer springs and pistons as needed during setup.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is used to set shock damping in RC model suspensions, giving a medium level of resistance for tuning handling and rebound.
Disassemble the shock, drain old fluid, refill slowly to the recommended level, pump the shock to remove air, then reassemble and check operation before reinstalling.
