Super Blend Shock Oil #700

The Yokomo YS-700 Super Blend Shock Oil is a silicone-based damping fluid intended for RC-scale suspension systems. It is presented as a single-viscosity option that fits common 1/10 scale touring cars and buggies where a 700cSt damping characteristic is required for slower shaft return and firmer compression control.

Use this oil when adjusting shock response to reduce high-speed compliance or to create a more controlled rebound on smoother surfaces. Filling and setup follow standard RC shock procedures: clean shock bodies and pistons, assemble with fresh O-rings and shims as needed, then fill to the manufacturer-recommended level while eliminating air bubbles before sealing.

In tuning practice, 700cSt silicone oil is typically chosen when a driver needs heavier damping compared with mid-range oils. Combine changes in oil viscosity with piston hole size, spring rate, and preload to achieve the target handling balance. Store the bottle capped and away from direct heat, and avoid mixing with non-silicone fluids.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, this silicone oil is intended for common 1/10 scale touring and buggy suspension systems that accept user-replaceable shock fluid.
Partially assemble the shock, cycle the shaft slowly while tapping the body, then top up oil and repeat until no bubbles appear before sealing.
Mixing different silicone oils changes the effective viscosity and behavior, so only mix if you understand the resulting damping effect.
