Link Mount Spacer TYPE-C overview

The Yokomo YOKZCS37 Link Mount Spacer TYPE-C is an RC-scale accessory intended to give builders a simple, incremental method to adjust link spacing at suspension or steering link mounts. It acts as a non-destructive way to alter effective link position without changing link length or drilling new holes.

Use this spacer to fine-tune alignment and roll behavior by adding or removing thin shims at the link mount interface. Small changes to spacer stack-up can shift load distribution and tweak toe or camber response in assemblies that rely on stacked link points.

Installation is straightforward: remove the link mounting hardware, place the spacer between mating surfaces where clearance is required, and reassemble to check fit and symmetry. Make incremental adjustments, verify movement through the suspension travel range, and ensure fasteners remain secure after initial test runs.

Because this is a generic link mount spacer, confirm physical clearance and hole alignment with your chassis and link hardware before committing to long-term use, and balance changes on both sides of the car to maintain predictable handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Small spacer additions alter the link mounting offset, which can subtly affect toe, camber progression, and roll centre behaviour; changes are incremental so tune in small steps.
Trial-fit by removing the link fastener, placing the spacer at the mounting interface, then reassembling; check alignment through full suspension travel and tighten fasteners to original torque.
For predictable handling, match spacer use left and right unless you are deliberately setting asymmetric geometry for a specific track condition.
