Front shock body for off-road use

This is an RC-scale front shock body intended as a direct replacement or spare part for front damper assemblies used in off-road models. The component serves as the housing for internal shock components and defines the oil volume and travel available to the front suspension.

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with standard damper service: drain the damper oil, remove the shock shaft and internal components, slide out the old body, and fit the YS-4S-8 body in its place before reassembling. Check seal seating and shaft alignment during reassembly to avoid leaks or binding.

In tuning, the shock body affects usable oil volume and maximum stroke, so swapping bodies can alter damping feel and response. Use it together with matching pistons, springs, and oil grades to reach your preferred front-end balance on loose or hard-packed surfaces.
