Gearbox support and front bulkhead mount

This Z2-018M2A component is the gearbox support and front bulkhead mount supplied as standard on the YZ-2DTMW lineup. The gearbox support has a revised shape compared with earlier units, and its geometry is intended to influence rear chassis roll behaviour on 1/10 on-road touring setups.

As an RC-scale replacement or spare, the part serves two practical roles: it secures the gearbox and front bulkhead assembly, and it provides a known tuning lever — changing the support geometry alters how the rear end transfers load through the chassis during cornering. That makes it useful when refining balance between front grip and rear rotation.

Installation notes: the part mounts in place of the factory support on compatible YZ-2 variants and interfaces with the existing front bulkhead. No modification to the main chassis is required beyond standard removal and refit of the original support, and setup changes should be evaluated with incremental testing laps to observe handling effects.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Expect increased rear roll tendency under cornering compared with earlier support shapes, which can promote easier rotation at the rear; tune incrementally and re-test.
No chassis modification is required beyond removing the original support and installing this unit to the existing front bulkhead mounting points.
Small suspension adjustments may be beneficial to balance the increased rear roll, such as minor damping or spring rate changes; evaluate on-track and adjust stepwise.
