Adjust gearbox height for rear roll tuning

This Yokomo Z2-302S1 spacer set is an RC-scale accessory designed to change the vertical position of the gearbox on YZ-2 chassis to alter rear roll balance. The kit contains 4 pcs of spacers, each 1.0mm thick, arranged to sit below the gearbox, above the rear suspension mount, and beneath the front brace to provide coordinated height adjustment without cutting or reshaping existing parts.

Installation is straightforward: add the spacer(s) where indicated under the gearbox and on the listed mount locations to raise the gearbox by 1mm per spacer. Small, incremental changes will affect rear roll center and driveline geometry, so test with one spacer at a time and evaluate handling before stacking multiple pieces.

Note that changing gearbox height with this set will also shift the relative position of the motor and the shock tower. If you plan to change motor or shock tower position as part of the setup, use the separately sold Z2-304C-2 in combination, and consider fitting a compatible 3G motor mount to maintain correct pinion alignment.

Yes, raising the gearbox shifts motor and shock tower position; use Z2-304C-2 and a 3G motor mount if you need to correct motor alignment.
Make incremental changes, test one spacer first, and observe rear roll and traction before adding more spacers.
