Aluminum rear mount for YZ-4/YZ-2DTM

This aluminum rear suspension mount is an optional RC-scale part for the 4WD off-road YZ-4 platform, designed for use with the L5 suspension arm. The RF unit changes the front-side pin spacing relative to the standard mount, reducing the distance between suspension pins by 2mm compared with the standard rear mount.

When installed as a matched set with the rear suspension mount Z4-300LRR and combined with the 1mm longer L5 suspension arm Z4-008RS5, the assembly lets you increase overall track width without altering the longer arm geometry. That setup helps maintain roll characteristics while allowing a slightly wider stance.

On high-grip surfaces such as carpet or artificial turf, running the suspension in a stiffer configuration together with this mount can encourage a moderate amount of chassis roll and improved turn response without degrading the basic handling feel. To adjust front-to-rear balance, pair this part with the 1mm longer front arm Z4-008F1 for a more neutral behaviour.

Tuning role and installation notes: this mount is intended as a tuning option rather than a replacement for standard geometry; check pin alignment and clearances during installation, and test incremental changes to spring and damping to find a suitable setup for high-grip tracks.
