This is an RC-scale replacement rear transmission case designed for the 4WD off-road chassis YZ-4. Molded from a graphite-containing resin, the component is produced to offer increased structural rigidity compared with standard plastic housings while remaining suitable for hobby-grade models.

The design separates left and right halves into a sealed arrangement to limit ingress of dust and small stones, helping preserve internal spur and pinion engagement and the life of running gear. That sealed split also makes routine inspection and maintenance straightforward for hobby workshops.

In tuning terms the part serves two practical roles: it maintains gear protection under off-road conditions, and its higher rigidity can slightly alter drivetrain flex characteristics when compared with more compliant housings, allowing builders to fine-tune rear-end response on YZ-4 setups.
