This is an RC-scale steel main shaft designed for the YZ-4 4WD off-road buggy platform. It serves as the rotating spine of the drivetrain where durability and straightness affect power transfer and drivetrain behaviour.

Made from steel, the part is intended as a direct-replacement component for the model’s standard shaft. Its role is mechanical: maintain alignment between gearbox output and wheel assemblies, resist deformation under load, and provide a stable mounting for couplings and bearings.

Installation notes: inspect mating bearings and hubs before fitment, confirm axial seating and rotational freedom, and replace any worn bearings or damaged circlips to avoid premature wear. During setup, check for smooth spin with the chassis supported off the ground and correct any wobble before running.
